Eastern Timber Wolf Hunting
The eastern timber wolf hunts foxes, fish and other small animals when it's not with the pack. When the wolves are with their pack they go after bigger things like white tailed deer, elk and moose. An eastern timber wolf pack once killed a black bear that was intruding on their territory. When the pack goes hunting together they sprint behind the prey and eventually when they catch up they circle it. They then nip at the prey trying to make it fall. The the pack will feed on the animal.

Vicious Cycle
If the Eastern Timber Wolf went extinct, there would be a huge change in the environment it lives in. The Eastern Timber Wolves main prey is the white tailed deer and with the wolf gone the deer would not have as many predators. They could then reproduce so much that they would eat all their food. Once all their natural food is gone the deer would then starve or eat farmers crops. The problem is with the white tailed deer eating all the crops, the farmers would then hunt all the deer. This would cause the white tailed deer to become endangered in that area. With the deer extinct a lot of the predators would not have as much food.
